Having grown up in a family business, Adam Brooks has a distinct perspective on the challenges and successes of being a business owner. He’s seen first-hand the commitment and dedication required to develop and nurture an idea and bring it to fruition as a successful business venture. As a result, his clients experience the same level of commitment and passion necessary to accomplish their goals and objectives.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner, Adam has been guiding individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations toward their financial goals since 1993. Along with Lee Eisinberg, Adam co-founded ABLE Financial Group in 2006 after forming their partnership several years earlier at RBC Wealth Management.
In addition to his work as a Financial Advisor, Adam has served as an adjunct faculty member of many financial education courses. He has taught a variety of courses at the community colleges within the Maricopa County and Central Arizona system, including “Successful Money Management Seminars” and “Rich Dad’s Cash Flow” courses. Additionally, Adam previously hosted a radio show called “The Truth About Money” for two years on KFNN 1510 AM.
Adam graduated from the University of Arizona, where he earned dual degrees in finance and accounting. Further continuing his education, he also earned the CFP® certification in 2003, and this requires a specific educational background, vast experience, passing a demanding examination, and maintaining high ethical standards.
When he is not serving the interests of his clients, Adam actively serves his community in a variety of leadership positions. In January 2020, he accepted a 2-year term as the Chairman of the Board of the Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center. In 2017, he helped establish the Professional Leadership Program with the Jewish Family and Children’s Services, which has provided meaningful resources and impact to the people they serve. Adam is also a Past Chair of the Arizona Community Foundation’s Tax & Legal Seminar Committee, actively participating on the Committee since 2001. In 2011, Adam and Lee began funding the ABLE Financial Group Philanthropic Fund at the Jewish Community Foundation, allowing them to support some of their favorite organizations and causes today and into the future.
